The RESNET Building Performance Conference is the premier national forum
on home energy ratings, residential energy efficiency financing, and
building performance business development. The 2009 RESNET Building
Performance Conference took place on February 16-18, 2009 in New
Orleans, LA.
2009 RESNET Building Performance Conference to have Carbon Neutral
Footprint
RESNET will offset 100% of the carbon dioxide emissions associated
with hosting the annual conference. This includes emissions generated
from the facilities and participant travel. RESNET arranged with the
Oregon Climate Trust to offset its carbon emissions. The Oregon Climate
Trust purchases and retires "carbon credits." RESNET will offset the
emissions by purchasing energy efficiency certificates.
