Conference Theme
February 27 - March
1, 2006
Plaza San Antonio
San Antonio, Texas
The energy rating and building performance industries are at a critical
crossroads. There are a number of changes that will take place over the next
year that will impact the rating industry including:
-
Proposed changes to the national energy rating standards
- The changes to the International Energy
Conservation Code
-
New federal air conditioner efficiency requirements
- More rigorous rating quality assurance
procedures
While these events will change rating scores and how ratings are conducted,
they also present new opportunities. Those firms that understand these
changes and position their business to take advantage of the opportunities
they present, will be in position to gain the greatest profit in the future.
The
theme of the 2006 RESNET Conference is "Embracing the Future". The 2006 RESNET Conference will review the changes in the rating industry,
discuss their implications, and explore how to position a rating business to
profit from the new opportunities.
The RESNET Conference is the premier national
forum on home energy ratings, residential energy efficiency financing, and
building performance business development. Make plans now for three days of
networking, learning, sharing and enjoying exciting San Antonio.
RESNET is seeking suggestions for sessions and presenters
that should be featured at the 2006 RESNET Conference. RESNET
has established a nomination submission page for sessions can be found
