2010 RESNET Building Performance Conference
February
22-24, 2010
Hilton North Raleigh Hotel
Raleigh, NC
The Time is Now to Take Off
The RESNET Building Performance Conference is the premier national forum on
home energy ratings, residential energy efficiency financing, and
building performance business development.
The 2010 RESNET Building Performance Conference took place on February 22-24, 2010 in Raleigh, NC.
A special feature of the 2010 conference is that it was merged with the North Carolina Energy Star Conference. This gave attendees a first hand look at one of the nation's dynamic regions and the oppotunity to enjoy some tar heel hospitality.
2010 RESNET Building Performance Conference had Carbon Neutral Footprint
RESNET offset 100% of the carbon dioxide emissions associated
with hosting the annual conference. This included emissions generated
from the facilities and participant travel. RESNET arranged with the
LiveNeutral to offset its carbon emissions. LiveNeutral
was created to foster education and action around the imminent problems
of greenhouse gas emissions. The organization helps make it easy for
individuals and organizations to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions
directly and through participating in innovative market-based solutions
to global climate change. RESNET offset the emissions by purchasing
energy efficiency certificates.
